9/11/16  Field Trip! at Silverwood Park featuring Steven Lang’s HYGEE project

9/24/16 Community @ Work Pop-Up Park and Festival St. Paul, MN from Noon – 3pm at the Jimmy Lee Rec Center – activities will take place at the corner of Lexington and Concordia Ave and north of the highway on Lexington and St. Anthony.

Community at Work  is an arts engagement festival celebrating the Dignity of Work core value assigned to the Lexington Bridge over 94 by the Rondo community.

Community @ Work is made possible by the Friendly Streets Initiative in partnership with the Lexington Hamline Community Council, Concordia University Art Department and the Union Park District Council.

Join us on Henderson Lake for a lively discussion of “The Storied Life A. J. Fikry” by Gabrielle Zevin with guest moderator Kris Gatzemeyer

What better place to discuss the themes of isolation, loneliness, book stores, and book clubs but inside a warm fish house on a lonely frozen lake. The conversation will be easy going, sharp, witty, and thoughtful – just like our moderator.

Seating is very limited (5 people max) for the Pop Up Book Club – a sporadic program hosted by The Traveling Museum. Message Lisa Bergh to reserve your spot.

2/6/15   Gris Gris Gumbo Ya Ya  4- 6pm on Green Lake in Spicer, MN

Homemade Gumbo and Paintings by Michael Eble.  Find the Museum on Green Lake in front of Saulsbury Beach in Spicer, MN. You may park in the public lot adjacent to the beach and take the short walk onto the ice out to the Museum.  Stayed tuned to Twitter and Facbook for  the exact GPS coordinates.  The ice is thick, no worries!

10/17-18/14 Art in Odd Places Indianapolis.  Presenting SPACE COWBOY: an exhibition that honors the spirit of adventure and exploration featuring Karl Unnasch, Michon Weeks, and Jonathan Gomez Whitney. The Uncanny meets the nostalgic in a display of three Minnesota artists who each use distinct strategies to investigate the banal and raise it to the sacred, fetishizing the discarded, and provoking new frontiers by making by the ordinary wondrous.

8/2/14 Word Play by Mary Bergs at the Willmar Public Library A pop-up exhibit featuring new text based works by Minneapolis artist, Mary Bergs. Noon – 4pm at the Willmar Public Library.

7/20-7/26/14  Deep Space an Artist Residency in Fergus Falls, MN Featuring: Michele Anderson, Naomi Schliesman, Dan Olson. Michele, Naomi and Dan will work with the Traveling Museum space to create a collaborative sound installation project.
